By accessing or using our website, placing an order, or making use of our services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must refrain from using our website and services.
Firewoodbros reserves the right to amend or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon publication on our website.
2. Products and Availability:
Firewoodbros supplies a range of firewood and braai-related products. All products are offered subject to availability.
We reserve the right to:
* Withdraw, replace, or modify products at any time without prior notice;
* Limit quantities available for sale; and
* Correct any errors in product descriptions, pricing, or availability.
While we make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, measurements, and images are accurate, firewood is a natural product and variations in size, colour, moisture content, and appearance may occur. Such variations do not constitute a defect.
3. Orders and Payment:
3.1 Placing Orders
Orders may be placed via our website or through approved communication channels. All orders are subject to acceptance and confirmation by Firewoodbros.
3.2 Pricing
* All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR).
* Prices include Value Added Tax (VAT) unless otherwise stated.
* Delivery fees, where applicable, will be displayed at checkout or confirmed prior to delivery.
3.3 Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
* Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT);
* Cash on Delivery (COD);
* Card payments via card machine on delivery.
Payment must be made in full before or upon delivery, depending on the selected payment method. Firewoodbros reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order at its discretion, including but not limited to cases of stock shortages, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity.
4. Delivery:
4.1 Delivery Areas
We deliver to selected areas within Cape Town and the Western Cape. Delivery zones and applicable fees are displayed during checkout or communicated during order confirmation.
4.2 Delivery Times
We aim to deliver orders on the agreed or selected delivery date. However, delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to:
* Weather conditions;
* High seasonal demand for firewood;
* Traffic or logistical constraints.
In the event of a delay, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you as soon as possible.
5. Premium Delivery Service:
Premium delivery includes stacking and arranging the firewood at your premises.
By selecting premium delivery, you acknowledge and agree that:
* You are responsible for ensuring clear, safe, and unobstructed access to the designated stacking area;
* The stacking area must be suitable and safe for our team to work in;
* Firewoodbros will not be held liable for damage or injury resulting from poor access, unsafe conditions, or unsuitable stacking locations as identified on-site.
6. Refunds and Returns:
Please refer to our Refunds and Returns Policy for full details. In summary:
* Returns for unused products may be requested within four (4) days of delivery;
* Any damaged or incorrect items must be reported within eight (8) days of delivery;
* Returned products are subject to inspection and approval;
* Approved refunds will be processed via EFT only.
Firewoodbros reserves the right to refuse refunds or returns that do not meet the above conditions.
7. Promotions and Discount Codes:
From time to time, Firewoodbros may offer promotions, specials, or discount codes. These offers:
* Are subject to specific terms and conditions;
* Cannot be exchanged for cash;
* May not be combined with other offers unless expressly stated;
* May be withdrawn or amended at any time without prior notice.
8. Intellectual Property:
All content displayed on the Firewoodbros website, including but not limited to text, images, logos, designs, and product descriptions, is the intellectual property of Firewoodbros.
No content may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent from Firewoodbros.
9. Privacy:
We are committed to protecting your privacy. All personal information is collected, stored, and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable South African data protection laws, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
10. Governing Law:
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
